Das Eckert - Lifestyle Design Hotel & Fine Dining bei Basel is truly one of the best places we have stayed. The staff was exceptional, providing warm and attentive service throughout our stay. The facilities are excellent, including comfortable rooms, ample parking, a very good breakfast, and a convenient laundry service. Communication with the hotel staff was smooth and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The hotel also features a nice pool area, perfect for kids to enjoy. Its strategic location is ideal for travelers who wish to explore the border regions of Germany, Switzerland, and France, making it a great base for a multi-country trip.

The breakfast each morning was perfect, with a buffet offering fresh fruit, yogurts, breads, cheeses, sparkling wine, fruit juices, and a variety of teas and coffee. Freshly made eggs were also available to order. I loved that the lobby had a good coffee machine available to use anytime. The pool area was clean and functional, making it a great spot to relax.

The surrounding area is really safe for a walk outside the hotel. There are several place where to eat food or ice cream. The Hotel has a very nice restaurant but I had no time to taste their food.

The breakfast was excellent and so was the dinner! I just wanted to go to the restaurant at the hotel - and was so positively surprised by the excellent quality of the restaurant. I should have checked online - and like this, I felt it was expensive, and yet so(!) worth it!
